It seems that famous rapper Jay-Z can't get over his 'bootylicious' wife Beyonce Knowles, as he requested for a watermelon carved in shape of Beyonce's bust. The 38-year-old star, made the request while performing at the Africa Rising gig in Nigeria.

The fruit was displayed in his 2,500 pounds-a-night hotel suite. "One giant watermelon was split in two and ornately carved into a mould of Beyonce Knowles' boobs. Two cherries were used as nipples," Mirror quoted a source as saying.

After their wedding, Newlyweds Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles sneaked off for a secret honeymoon at a luxurious resort at the Arizona desert, according to reports. The couple squeezed a top secret New York wedding into Jay-Z's busy tour schedule last month, seemingly leaving no time for a traditional romantic post-nuptials get-away.

However, OK! Magazine claims the pair escaped to the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain resort a week after tying the knot. A source at the resort, where a two-night stay costs $8,000 (Eight Thousand US Dollars), told America's OK! Magazine: "Beyonce Knowles looked stunning, even thought she was wearing no make-up."

"They looked so in love and so happy." they added.

The marriage of singer Beyonce Knowles and hip-hop star Jay-Z is finally official, with a New York town clerk confirming the couple have filed a wedding license. The couple held a lavish private celebration in Manhattan earlier this month, but had refused to confirm they were celebrating their nuptials.

But Donna Conkling, town clerk of Scarsdale Village in suburban Westchester County, said her office had since received the license. "The license was sent back to our office on Friday," said Ms Conkling. Houston-born Knowles, 26, and Brooklyn native and former street hustler Jay-Z, 38, whose real name is Shawn Carter, have been romantically linked since September 2002, but have kept mum about their romance.

Their Manhattan party, which took place at Jay-Z's apartment on April 4, did little to scotch speculation about their relationship.

The celebration was attended by actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Destiny's Child stars Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, according to US media reports. White flowers and silver candelabras were delivered to the building in New York's Tribeca district, while a white tent was set up on the roof.

Beyonce rose to fame as a member of Destiny's Child, but emerged as a superstar in her own right with her big-screen turn as Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers in Goldmember. The following year she scored a hit with her debut solo album, Dangerously in Love, collecting five Grammys along the way.

Her marriage to Jay-Z comes as the hip-hop artist and record executive enters talks with concert promoter, Live Nation, over a reputed deal worth $150 million. He ran the rap label Def Jam Records as president for several years, and co-owns the New Jersey Nets professional basketball team.

Newlyweds Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly had a marital fall-out during a gig, after the hip-hop mogul told a DJ to stop playing her hit, "Crazy in Love." Jay-Z was performing to a sold-out crowd at the Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday when he decided to rap over some popular songs.

The show's DJ began to play the 2003 track -- which Carter co-wrote and performs on -- when the rapper grabbed the microphone and jokingly yelled, "[Bleep] that. Sorry B but [bleep] that -- let's play something else." Knowles -- who was watching the gig from the side of the stage -- then reportedly stormed off, before Carter made his apologies to the star.But all must have been forgiven -- later the pair were openly cuddling and being affectionate at a private dinner for 40 friends and family, including former Destiny's Child star Michelle Williams, Knowles' mother Tina and sister Solange, Jay-Z's touring partner Mary J. Blige and new mom Christina Aguilera, at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel's Tropicana Bar after the show.
